Brooklyn Acupuncture Project is a community healing space. We offer acupuncture, herbs, massage, Reiki, and other healing modalities to the community, with a focus on acupuncture.
Our licensed acupuncturists are caring, grounded, well-organized, strong communicators, like to work as part of a community clinic team, and are comfortable treating in a fast-paced setting.
Our contracted practitioners:
hold their own malpractice insurance;
commit to treating 2 shifts per week (shifts are approximately 5 hours);
attend quarterly meetings;
are a healing presence;
show up fully and on time (15-30 min before first scheduled patient);
commit to caring for the physical space while present;
give 2-3 weeks notice when taking time off;
commit to serving at BAP for at least 1.5 years;
and give 1 month notice when they no longer want to serve as a BAP practitioner.
Weekend shifts are often needed.
Practitioners are independently contracted and receive a percentage of fees collected from patients during their shift.
We value BIPOC practitioners and Spanish language speakers are always a plus.
We are not currently hiring, but we welcome you to send a resume, cover letter or any questions to danette@brooklynacupunctureproject.com.
